Raising the Family Altar by Pastor Johnson Adegbesan

Raising the Family Altar by Pastor Johnson Adegbesan

Exodus 20:22-24, Genesis 3:8, Genesis 5:24

God first thought man how to raise altar in Exodus 20:22-24. No spiritual man has ever operated without raising an altar. As a child of God your personal daily praying time is your altar.

A Christian spiritual life is a power base from where he/she operates and neutralise the influence of spiritual altars. For an altar to be effective and deliver the required blessing, the price of regularity, continuity must be maintained.

Anywhere you see an altar; there is always a spiritual presence there. Any where there is an altar there is always a trafficking of spirit; either spirit of God or demonic spirit which cannot be seen.

Prayer: Every altar attacking the altar of God in my life, catch fire, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Genesis 18:14 - Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.(KJV)

Prior to the above verse, we will see the reason from the presiding verses.

Genesis 18:11-13 - Now Abraham and Sarah [were] old [and] well stricken in age; [and] it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?(KJV)

Any voice that says you shall not make, let that voice be silenced forever, in Jesus name, amen.

Message Title: I Shall Not Die A Victim Of Satanic Syndrome.

Message Title: I Shall Not Die A Victim Of Satanic Syndrome.

Syndrome is a medical term used to refer to group of infections or problems resulting in malfunctioning of any part of the body.

Spiritual syndrome is a problem causing multiple problems in the same body. Spiritual syndrome manifests in fear, sickness, and worry and in extreme case death.

A victim is someone suffering because of the action of other people; he/she can be seen as one suffering from a problem he/she knew nothing about. In other words, a victim can be seen as one suffering from the effects of actions of others. Furthermore, victim can be seen as one paying for the havoc he or she did not commit.

Victim Syndrome is something that attracts dishonour into the life of someone.

The University of Ignorance

Message Title: The University of Ignorance
-
Ministering: Dr. D. K. Olukoya

First Reading
Hosea 4

There are Seven Major Universities.

1. University of Bondage. Many people are unconsciously in bondage.
2. University of Fear.
3. University of Confusion. Confusion of gender.
4. University of Sexual Perversion. Homosexuality, bestiality, sex, etc.
5. University of Greed.  Lack of contemptment.
6. University of Pride.
7. University of Ignorance.

Jesus said: Know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. (KJV)

Isaiah 5:13
Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because [they have] no knowledge: and their honourable men [are] famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. (KJV)

A man had a dream, in the dream he was in a church and there was a funeral service. He joined in the singing with the congregation, and then suddenly he thought, who died? He looked at the pamphlet and realised that he was the one. Immediately, he started shouting that he is not dead.

A real child of God should rehearse his/her dream with God and claim the good and reject the bad.

Experimentation is ignorance. Your degree of ignorance will determine how much the enemy will defraud you.

Education cannot remove ignorance; however, knowledge will always triumph over ignorance.

Ignorance is not bliss, it is not peace; Ignorance is poverty, devastation, root and stem of evil.

Discussion is an exchange of knowledge while argument is exchange of ignorance.

Ignorance is like alcohol. Nothing limits intelligence as ignorance.

Ignorance is the parent of fear.

The most terrible triplets in the world: Ignorance, Power and Pride.

If the beard signifies intelligence, then the goat will be the most intelligent. Big mouth and small brains makes the greatest noise.

Our prayers must be tailored according to what we see. We need knowledge to be able to tailor our prayers.

Psalm 5:3
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct [my prayer] unto thee, and will look up. (KJV)

Learn how to prayer: start in the morning, start from little timings like 10 minutes before graduating to 1 hour. Read the bible with absolute concentration and meditations.

When we study the bible: what do I learn, what sins should I confess based on this bible passage, what prayers can I derive from this bible study?

Powers assigned to use me as a sacrifice die, in Jesus name.

The mystery why people perform sacrifice is the because of the blood.

Memorising God's word is very important in getting closer to God. Continues review of bible verses inputs them permanently in the dream. We respond to demonic challenges in our dream/reality using the word of God.

Nothing is worse than practicing ignorance.

O God, arise and revive my soul, in the name Of Jesus!

My Father, My Father, My Father, give me personal Pentecost in the name of Jesus!

Indian Green Energy Champion

Meet The Man Who Has Built A House That Satisfies All His Needs From Food To Water To Gas

Copied from https://thelogicalindian.com/story-feed/exclusive/solar-suresh/

Solar power is reshaping energy production around the world. While people are choosing to move to solar power in many countries like China, Japan, Germany, and the United States, Indians are also changing their lifestyle to use solar power as a source of energy.

One such person is Dwarkadas Suresh, popularly known as Solar Suresh. An IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad graduate, he lives in Chennai with his wife, son, and daughter-in-law. He has worked in textile marketing industries in various capacities including as the Chief Executive Officer, Managerial Director. He retired in 2015, and is now enjoying his green home.
The Logical Indian spoke to Mr Suresh to know more about his lifestyle, inspiration and challenges.

What was the motivation to shift to solar energy?
I was in Germany and witnessed many rooftop plants there. I thought if a country with a lot less sunshine can install these facilities, then why not implement the same in India which has solar energy in abundance? When I came back, I interacted with a lot of vendors, but no one agreed to install it. It was hard to find a suitable rooftop solar plant vendor and also to get a proper solar inverter. Even big corporates did not show any interest. After some time, I located a local vendor who had the same interest as mine. He manufactured and designed the solar power plant of my home.

What changes have you observed since then?
I installed a rooftop solar plant of 3kW capacity four years ago. I connected one Air Conditioner, Pump, Refrigerator, Fans, Lights, TV, Computer and Laptop, Mixer Grinder and Washing Machine. I have not experienced power cut even for a minute in the last four years except during Cyclone Vardah. There was no electricity for one day.
The electricity charges are saved by producing around 12-16 units a day. There are many other advantages like no daily maintenance. It generates electricity even during mild and rainy days. The major advantage is that solar produces non-polluting power, does not work on fossil fuel and thus saves foreign exchange for the country.
The general idea is that solar plants are expensive, high maintenance, etc.

What is your take on this?
It is a one-time investment. Raw material is free for around 20 years, and the process of generating electricity is also free for 20 years during the lifespan of panels. There is an inbuilt insurance from future tariff increase which is certain. For example, the tariff was Rs 3 per unit (beyond 500 units) in 2012 scaling up to Rs 6.60 now, an increase of over 120% in 3 years.
There is no separate wiring required. The standalone rooftop solar plant is a sustainable, affordable, viable project, presently giving over 6 percent tax-free return including battery replacement. With tariff increase, this return on investment will only increase. The installation is also quite simple. It requires a shadow-free area, about 80 sq ft per kW.

What other projects have you started at your home?
Solar panels are reliable sources. I have also installed indoor biogas plant of 1 cubic meter to process around 4 kg organic waste per day, and it produces to about 20 kg of gas per month. There is no daily maintenance. The waste which is generated is converted into two useful resources- cooking gas and organic manure. What can be a better way of garbage management? Installation is also very simple process, and no odour is generated. The entire process is automatic. There is no manual intervention except feeding the plant daily. There is no pollution generated. There are also certain conditions like only organic waste such as cooked or uncooked food, spoilt food, vegetable and fruit peels, etc. can be used as input. The other items like lime, orange, onion, egg shells, bones, ordinary leaves should be avoided.
I also started rainwater harvesting around 20 years ago. Now there are two types of RWH – first is filter and store use and second is recharge groundwater use. In the first case, rainwater is collected and filtered through a simple organic filtration by using pebbles, charcoal and river sand. This water can be used for cooking and drinking purpose.
The second case is when the rainwater accumulates or stagnates, a pipe of 15 feet length and 8-inch diameter with holes every foot is inserted into the ground such that water goes into the pipe and recharges groundwater.
And then again there is no daily maintenance required. Just before the arrival of monsoon season, the terrace space should be cleaned, and organic items like pebbles, charcoal, sand are to be reused and kept tidy.
Apart from these, I have a terrace kitchen garden. Since I was a novice then and had no knowledge about it, I started with five pots and sowed seeds. I watched vegetables like lady’s finger, tomatoes, brinjal growing. Now there are 70 earthen pots, broken plastic buckets and many bags. Organically we have grown about 15 types of vegetables. It is a very pleasant sight to see my garden growing, and the vegetables from the garden are tastier than we get from the market. We do not go to the market to buy groceries, and we just have everything on our terrace.

How does it feel to go green?
Oh, it feels wonderful. In fact, we have created a forest atmosphere. There are growing bamboo plants, creepers to flow over them. When you peep from the terrace, one gets a feeling of being in the forest and not in Kilpauk. I cannot see neighbouring buildings and chaotic traffic. I am surrounded only by greenery.

Resultant Effect of OPEC Meeting

Earlier on,  30 November 2016, members of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries - OPEC meet to agree on oil production cuts so as to beef up the lowly priced commodity. The OPEC members agreed to a production of 1.2 million barrels per day in January 2017; this will reduce the overall production to 32.5 million barrels per day.

Be Thankful, Be Content, Be Rich

"A crust eaten in peace is better than a banquet partaken in anxiety." ~ Aesop
In just 13 words, Aesop captures within this quote the power of contentment and so much more than that. But who will hear the message through all of the seasonal noise?
As we Americans take pause to observe Thanksgiving, the hustle and bustle of the annual holiday often has us swallowing the feast of contentment without even tasting it. Rather than slowing down and peacefully enjoying the crust of simplicity, we feel it necessary to anxiously partake in a banquet of complexity.

The Powers of a Positive Attitude

I am going to ask you to something very weird right now. First of all, I want you to listen to your thoughts. Now tell me, what thoughts fill your head? Would you label them as positive, or negative? Now let's say you are walking down the street with these thoughts. Do you think anyone who would meet you would be able to tell you whatís on your mind? The answer to number one is up to you. But, the answer number two can be pretty generic. Although people will not be able to tell you exactly what you think, they will more or less have an idea of how you are feeling. Here's another question. When you enter a party filled with friends, do they all fall silent as if something terrible had happened? Or does everybody there perk up as if waiting for something exciting to happen? You know what? The answer to all these depends on your frame of mind. Thoughts are very powerful. They affect your general attitude. The attitude you carry reflects on your appearance, too ñ unless, of course, you are a great actor. And it doesn't end there. Your attitude can also affect people around you. The type of attitude you carry depends on you. It can be either positive or negative. Positive thoughts have a filling effect. They are admittedly invigorating. Plus, the people around the person carrying positive thoughts are usually energized by this type of attitude. Negative thoughts on the other hand have a sapping effect on other people. Aside from making you look gloomy and sad, negative thoughts can turn a festive gathering into a funeral wake. A positive attitude attracts people, while a negative attitude repels them. People tend to shy away from those who carry a negative attitude. We can also define attitude as the way of looking at the world. If you choose to focus on the negative things in the world, more or less you have a negative attitude brewing up. However, if you choose to focus on the positive things, you are more likely carry a positive attitude. You have much to gain from a very positive attitude. For one, studies have shown that a positive attitude promotes better health. Those with this kind of attitude also have more friends. projecting a positive attitude also helps one to handle stress and problems better than those who have a negative attitude. A positive attitude begins with a healthy self-image. If you will love the way you are and are satisfied, confident, and self-assured, you also make others are around feel the same way. A negative attitude, on the other hand, has, of course, an opposite effect. So, carrying a negative attitude has a twofold drawback. You feel bad about yourself, and you make others feel the same way. If you want to have a positive attitude, you have to feature healthy thoughts. This is probably very hard to do nowadays since, all around us, the media feeds us nothing but negative thoughts. A study shows that for every 14 things a parent says to his or her child, only one is positive. This is truly a saddening thought. If you want a healthier outlook in life, you need to think happy thoughts, and you have to hear positive things as well. So, what can you do? Well, for starters, you could see a funny movie, you could play with children, spend some time telling jokes with friends. All these activities fill you with positive stimuli, which in turn promotes positive attitude. Although it is impossible to keep ourselves from the negative things around us, you can still carry a positive attitude by focusing on the good things, the positive things in life. And this positive attitude you now carry can be of benefit to other people. Sometimes when other people feel down, the thing people mostly do is try to give them advice. But sometimes, all they need is somebody to sit by them, and listen to them. If you have a positive attitude you may be able to cheer them up without even having to say anything. If positive attitude is really great, why do people choose to adopt a negative attitude instead? One who carries a negative attitude may be actually sending a signal for attention. Before you get me wrong, feeling sad, angry, or gloomy is not wrong itself. But dwelling on these thoughts for far too long is not healthy either. There is a time to mourn. As always, if you are beset by troubles, even in your darkest hour, focus on the good things in life, you will always have hope. Problems become something you can overcome. You do not have much to lose by adopting a healthy, positive attitude. Studies show that such an attitude actually retards aging, makes you healthier, helps you develop a better stress coping mechanism, and has a very positive effect on all the people you meet every day. So, what's not to like about a positive attitude? Adopt one today. Check it out Nice App!https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobyi.selfMotivation
