Message Title: Seven Secret Keys to Divine Prosperity
-
Ministering: Pastor Olaitan Owolabi

Bible Reading: Genesis 14

Matthew 16:19
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (KJV)

Mark 4:11
And he said unto them, unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all [these] things are done in parables :( KJV)

3 John 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (KJV)

Every man desires to prosper, prayers alone cannot bring prosperity.

For every goal, there must be a key to attain that goal. For prosperity, there is a key. For deliverance, there is a key. And vice versa.

If one does not know the secrets to a particular goal, the person will keep struggling without result.

A locked door can never be open without the key; however, a man with the key to that particular door will simply unlock it and go in.

2 Corinthians 8:9
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. (KJV)

Isaiah 48:17
Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I [am] the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way [that] thou shouldest go. (KJV)

Deuteronomy 8:18
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for [it is] he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as [it is] this day.(KJV)

Psalm 35:27
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.(KJV)

God created Adam in the mist of affluence.

Matthew 13:28
He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?(KJV)

Our certificates - Academic and Business Certificates should be useful in our hands through God.

Galatians 3:13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:(KJV)

Notes on Poverty
1. Poverty is a destroyer. People accept evil assignments because of poverty.
2. Poverty is a curse.
3. Poverty is shameful.
4. Poverty has no brother.
5. Poverty is an orphan.

Proverbs 19:7
All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? his pursuit [them with] words, [yet] they [are] wanting [to him].(KJV)

We were not saved to dwell in poverty.

We are made in the express image of God. We are greater than Angels. Angels minister to us. The devil is envious of us(Man).

Seven Secret Keys to Divine Prosperity

1. Key of self-discovery.

Every journey of change begins with an encounter. Example, Paul and Moses.

Who am I? What is my destiny? Destiny is not a matter of determination, rather it is a matter of discovery.

We need to discover why we are created. Consult your maker.

Einstein, Mandela, Edison discovered whom they truly are, that is why they excelled.

Many people are envious of others, not knowing that they carry more.

2. Key of Education/Training.

Paul embarked upon training before his missionary journeys in Acts.

Abraham engaged trained servants in Genesis 14.

Training whether formal or informal is very pertinent for success.

Education is never a waste. Education develops a man.

Submit yourself to training so as to maximise your potentials.

3. Key to Information

Many brethren have turned everything to prayers. Men who are meant to engage themselves with work, abandon work and stay in church to pray.

Information is very important. Lack information leads to deformation. The more information you have determines how you progress.

When a man is well informed, people will travel distances to seek him. Pastors need to be informed. Brothers and Sisters you need to be informed.

People travel from far and wide to consult King Solomon.

Secret behind successful men is information. Successful men will prefer to give change that information.

4. Key of How to Work

Proverbs 22:29
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean [men].(KJV)

There is dignity in Labour, there is power in Labour.

God blesses the work of hands.

God detests a lazy man.

Proverbs 13:4
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and [hath] nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.(KJV)

Proverbs 13:11b
but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.(KJV)

God provokes open doors for our work/businesses.

Keep yourself engaged, people are always watching.

From Genesis to Revelation, people that accessed prosperity are people that worked. Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Jesus, Paul all worked.

Genesis 2:15
And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.(KJV)

5. Depart from Sin

Isaiah 52:11
Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean [thing]; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.(KJV)

Sin makes God a spectator in our business.

Proverbs 13:11a
Wealth [gotten] by vanity shall be diminished:(KJV)

Jeremiah 17:11
[As] the partridge sitteth [on eggs], and hatcheth [them] not; [so] he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.(KJV)

Do not deceive people in your business. Do not sell with fake measures.

Some people see church as exploitative grounds; embarrassing the spirit of Judas. Getting the money but losing your soul. Our God is God vengeance.

6. Change of Mentality

Remove every form poverty mentality from your mind.

I have no connection is a poor mentality.

Psalm 121:1-5
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help [cometh] from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD [is] thy keeper: the LORD [is] thy shade upon thy right hand.(KJV)

One with God is majority.

Daniel 11:32b
but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do [exploits].(KJV)

You know Abacha - Abacha is gone, you know Jonathan - Jonathan is no longer in Power. Soon Buhari will be out of power.

However, God is always in-charge. Better to know God than to know man.

Many men departed Egypt; however only two men Joshua and Caleb made it to the Promise Land. Two men believe that God can conquer on their behalf.

Proverbs 23:7a
For as he thinketh in his heart, so [is] he: (KJV)

Anything too big for your mind to conceive, will be too big for your hand to achieve.

7. Key of Covenant Practice

Genesis 8:22
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.(KJV)

Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.(KJV)

Covenant practice is like a seal, it connects us to God. It makes God attentive, to ensure we prosper.

Proverbs 11:24
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and [there is] that withholdeth more than is meet, but [it tendeth] to poverty.(KJV)

Our commitment to improvement to Kingdom prosperity, increases our prosperity.

No one is exempted in the kingdom prosperity: Pastors, Brothers, Sisters, etc.

Hebrews 7:6
But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.(KJV)

Galatians 6:7-9
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.(KJV)

Malachi 3:10
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].(KJV)

Tithe is different from Offering.

Luke 6:48
He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.(KJV)

Proverbs 23:10-11
Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless: For their redeemer [is] mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee.(KJV)

Proverbs 3:9
Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase:(KJV)

Do not allow God force you to pay your tithe. This is a New Year. Engage in your First Fruit. Believing God that we will not labour under closed Heaven.

To access the secrets of God, we need to be obedient.

Job 36:11
If they obey and serve [him], they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.(KJV)

Do not despise your days of little beginning.
