Nigeria Tops Average Billionaire Net Worth By Country

According to Forbes, Nigeria currently ranks the highest on the average billionaire net worth by country. This comes to Nigeria as a result of the two billionaires in Nigeria; cement king Aliko Dangote and Telecom/Oil champion Mike Adenuga, a combined net worth of $20.8bn.

This average analysis does not represent the individual wealth of Nigerians in general; in fact, only about 0.000001% of Nigerians are billionaires. In comparison to a nation like Monaco which has population that is less than 40,000 people, about 0.01% of Monaco residents are billionaires.
So what does this entail? We Nigerians need to work towards developing in our business ideas, developing entrepreneurial skills and enabling business friendly environment in Nigeria.
