To abide means to remain with someone
or something all time, all day.
Abiding in God is being in the presence
in God always; being in a steady relationship with God.
Abiding in God is not just coming to
church on Sunday; it is a steady relationship with God.
In John 15:1, Jesus said he is the true
vine; this implies that there are other vines.
John 14:6
Thus we must abide in only the true
vine - Jesus.
